The final round of the 13th Chinese Bridge Competition (Belgium Division) ended Saturday at the Maison du Dragon in Brussels.
Six students from the Catholic University of Louvain and the Higher Institute of Translators and Interpreters of Brussels attended the final.
The competition consisted of four parts -- self-presentation, a speech about "my Chinese dream", questions & answers and a presentation of talent.
Lotte Janssen of the Catholic University of Louvain won first place and she has the opportunity to go to China to participate in the global finals and continue her studies in Chinese language.
The international contest "Chinese Bridge Competition", organized by Hanban/Confucius Institute of China since 2002, aims to encourage foreign students learning Chinese.
Belgium is a country where the education of the Chinese language has achieved a high level. Since the inception of the competition, the Belgian students were awarded several times, with a special price and twice winning the first, second and third prizes. Endi
