French President Francois Hollande required to take all measures to uncover the truth of the plane crash of Malaysia Airlines, according to the Elysee Thursday.

Hollande said he learned with great emotion that an airplane from Malaysia Airlines, making the trip from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on Ukrainian soil.

"France demands that everything is implemented, to shed light on the circumstances that caused this tragedy," said Hollande, "I express my solidarity with the relatives of the passengers in the event."

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said on Thursday that the airplane that crashed in Ukraine was carring at least four French passengers. He demanded an immediate investigation to be carried out on the crash of the aircraft.

French authorities, including the Crisis Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, have set out to collect all the information about the incident and the nationality of passengers, said Elysee.

Moreover, the government has recommended national airlines to avoid flying over Ukraine territory.

According to media reports, a Malaysia Airlines passenger plane crashed near the Russian border in eastern Ukraine on Thursday.

According to Interfax, the Boeing 777 crashed some 80 km from the city of Donetsk in Ukraine, with 295 people onboard feared dead. Endi
