Women's basketballer Dilana to carry China's flag at YOG opening ceremony

China's women's basketball player Dilixiati Dilana was announced Friday as the flag bearer for China at the 2nd Youth Olympic Games' opening ceremony.

"The 17-year-old is a Uygur girl and she's the tallest in the Chinese women's basketball team," said Yang Wei, an official of the Chinese team.

Dilana is a member of the Chinese U18 women's basketball team.

The Nanjing Youth Olympic Games will kick off on Saturday, and run till August 28. Enditem
