Cuba has claimed five of the 11 Olympic shooting berths on offer at the Shooting Championships of the Americas held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The United States was the second most successful team, booking three places, while the Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Ecuador secured one berth each.
The achievement had extra significance for Lilian Castro, whose gold in the 10m air pistol earned El Salvador's first 2016 Olympic spot.
"The final was intensely competitive," Castro was quoted saying by the official Rio 2016 website. "I was fourth after the first round, only a few tenths behind and I battled hard to finish well."
The 10-day event - which finished on Monday - followed September's world championships, when 27 countries and regions clinched Olympic spots.
