Argentina booked their spot in the Rio 2016 Paralympic football tournament by finishing runners-up at the Blind Football World Championships in Tokyo.
The Albiceleste lost Monday's final 1-0 to arch rivals Brazil, the South American giants' fourth world title in the five-a-side game.
Brazil had already secured a place at the Games as tournament hosts meaning Argentina also qualified by finishing second.
"Winning the Paralympic Games is all that we are missing," Argentina's Froilan Coki Padilla told rio2016.com.br. "And now we have plenty of time to think about and plan for this."
A further six Olympic berths will be decided in continental qualifiers next year. Endi
