The death toll in the derailment of a passenger train in India's southern state of Andhra Pradesh rose to 39, railway officials said Sunday.

At least 50 have been injured in the accident that took place Saturday night in Vizianagaram district, about 436 kilometers northeast of Amaravati, the main city of Andhra Pradesh. (India-Train-Death toll)

BUJUMBURA -- The Burundian parliament has rejected violations of human rights accusations by the European parliament, a statement from the Burundian parliament said Saturday evening.

NEW YORK -- Twitter Chief Executive Officer Jack Dorsey apologized on Saturday for the glitch that forced half a million unwitting users to follow the @POTUS account after it was handed over to U.S. President Donald Trump.

He explained in a series of tweets that users who chose to follow President Barack Obama's new handle @POTUS44 after Friday noon were automatically set to also follow the @POTUS account, which has been controlled by the Trump administration after his inauguration.

ISTANBUL -- Turkish police on Sunday caught a man who is believed to be responsible for the three attacks within 24 hours in Istanbul, local media reported.

The suspect, who attacked Istanbul Police headquarters and a building of ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) with flame throwers on Friday evening, was detained in northwestern city of Tekirdag, Hurriyet reported. (Turkey-Arrest) Endi
