FRANKFURT, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 30.86 points, or 0.25 percent, to close at 12,600.03 points.
German banking and financial services provider Commerzbank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.78 percent. Deutsche Bank and multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement rose by 2.93 percent and 1.68 percent respectively.
German industrial giant Thyssenkrupp lost the most among the blue chips, falling 3.42 percent. Energy groups RWE and E.ON went down by 2.90 percent and 2.44 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank was the most-traded share, with a turnover of 273.07 million euros (324.95 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
