Dollar changes hands around 113 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 113 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.00-01 yen compared with 112.88-98 yen in New York and 112.50-52 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1794-1795 dollars and 133.27-29 yen against 1.1781-1791 dollars and 133.06-16 yen in New York and 1.1761-1762 dollars and 132.31-35 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
