WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving said on Wednesday that it's time for Celtics' streak to end after his team's loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

The Celtics trailed for most of Wednesday night's game against Miami, who eventually handed Boston its first loss in 35 days, 104-98.

"You can tell they were locked into this game," Irving said. "They wanted it and proved it."

"There's still a lot to accomplish going forward," Irving added. "It was a nice streak. But it was time to come to an end."

Celtics coach Bred Stevens said: "That's a really well-coached team, and they played their butts off. They deserved to win that game." Enditem
