IN THE UNITED STATES
The S&P 500 Index opened at 2,842.35 points, up 4.91 points, or 0.17 percent.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened at 25,520.52 points, down 6.55 points, or 0.03 percent.
The Nasdaq Composite Index opened at 7,889.75 points, up 37.57 points, or 0.48 percent.
IN EUROPE
