DAMASCUS, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Five bombings rocked areas controlled by the Turkey-backed rebels in Aleppo province in northern Syria on Saturday, killing four people, a war monitor reported.
The bombings, caused by booby-trapped motorcycles and roadside bombs, rocked areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo province, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The Britain-based watchdog group said 38 people were wounded in the bombings, adding that the death toll could likely rise due to the number of critically wounded people.
Previous reports indicate the state of lawlessness in areas controlled by the rebels in northern Syria.
The Turkey-backed rebels have been opposed by the Kurdish militia in northeastern Syria.
However, no party has yet claimed responsibility for the bombings. Enditem
