ATHENS, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Greek authorities have arrested seven individuals wanted for alleged connections to jihadists in the past three years, Citizens' Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis told the Parliament on Tuesday, Greek national news agency AMNA reported.
In response to a question tabled by nationalist Greek Solution (Elliniki Lysi) party, the Greek official said that from 2017 until Aug. 14 this year, seven foreign nationals had been detained.
The suspects were wanted on European or international arrest warrants.
Based on existent legislation, the suspects were extradited, the ministry said, without elaborating. Enditem
