ATHENS, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale jolted central Greece on Thursday, according to the Geodynamic institute of the Athens observatory, Greek national news agency AMNA reported.
No injuries or significant material damages have been reported by local authorities.
The epicenter was located between the cities of Karditsa and Arta, about 239 kilometers northwest of Athens at a depth of 9.4 kilometers.
