Mauritius reports 39 new cases of COVID-19, 81 in total

PORT LOUIS, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Mauritius reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total to 81, announced by Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth at a press conference.

So far, two deaths have been reported, said Jugnauth.

From Tuesday, Mauritius has officially established a "total shutdown" which means that all services have been closed except pharmacies and other essential stores. Enditem
