All quarantined COVID-19 contacts released in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday with the national tally of cases standing at 141.

It marked the fourteenth consecutive day in the sultanate without new cases since May 7.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, all 2,679 individuals of COVID-19 close contact have completed their quarantine on Thursday.

No more recoveries were recorded on Thursday, keeping the total number of recoveries at 136. The number of active cases being treated at the National Isolation Center is still four.

Two patients remained in critical condition. There has been one death resulting from the COVID-19 in Brunei. Enditem
