NEW DELHI -- India's COVID-19 tally rose to 11,359,048 on Sunday as 25,320 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours, said the latest data from the federal health ministry.
According to the official data, the death toll mounted to 158,607 as 161 COVID-19 patients died since Friday morning.

ULAN BATOR -- Mongolia registered 128 more COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing its national caseload to 3,961, the country's National Center for Communicable Diseases said Sunday.

TASHKENT -- Starting from Monday, Uzbekistan will no longer mandatorily test travellers for COVID-19 at airports, train stations and other border checkpoints, local authorities said Sunday.
Travellers still need qualified test certificates obtained within the last 72 hours for entrance, according to the authorities.

SANTIAGO -- More than 1.7 million people in Chile have received both doses of the vaccine against the novel coronavirus disease amid an upward trend in infections, the Ministry of Health reported Saturday.
