Dollar changes hands around 109.11 yen level in early deals in Tokyo

TOKYO, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 109.11 yen level in early deals in Tokyo on Monday.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.11-13 yen compared with 108.98-109.08 yen in New York and 109.03-05 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1950-1950 dollars and 130.39-40 yen against 1.1948-1958 dollars and 130.29-39 yen in New York and 1.1945-1946 dollars and 130.24-28 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
