NEW YORK, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Second-seeded Russian Daniil Medvedev crushed Spain's Pablo Andujar 6-0, 6-4, 6-3 in the third round of the U.S. Open men's singles on Friday.
The World No.2 did not give his opponent a chance as he held the unseeded Spanish to five points in the first set and took the game under control throughout.
"I was playing good and really happy with my level," Medvedev said. "The main positive was to win in three sets."
After the game, Medvedev improved to 16-4 at the U.S. Open, his best mark at a major. Enditem
