LUANDA, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Angola has started to issue a digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate for inoculated individuals, minister of state and head of the presidency's security affairs announced Monday.

Vaccine receivers are recommended to use the certificate at national immigration posts or during international trips. The document will also become part of the requirements for candidates applying for jobs in the education, health, defense and security bodies, said Francisco Pereira Furtado.

The southern African country has also upgraded other measures against COVID-19, including vaccinating all professionals in health, education and service sectors as well as defense and security agencies.

Furtado said the intention is to immunize all professionals who deal with the public in their daily lives.
