SYDNEY -- More cases infected with the new Omicron variant of COVID-19 were reported in Australia's state of New South Wales (NSW).
Two cases were confirmed by NSW health authorities on Monday evening. Both are international travelers who arrived in Sydney from southern Africa on Sunday. They are all fully vaccinated and isolated in the Special Health Accommodation. (Australia-COVID-19-Omicron)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia on Monday midnight imposed restrictions on travel from 10 countries in Africa to avert the spread of a new strain of COVID-19 known as Omicron or B.1.1.529, the country's Health Minister Mam Bunheng said.
The 10 countries are Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Angola and Zambia, he said in a statement, adding that those who have a history of traveling to the 10 countries in the last three weeks are also banned from entering Cambodia. NEW DELHI -- India's COVID-19 tally rose to 34,587,822 on Tuesday, as 6,990 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, showed the federal health ministry's latest data.
