Feasibility study sought for new int'l port terminal in Myanmar

YANGON, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's Ministry of Transport and Communications is inviting tenders to carry out a feasibility study for the new international port terminal near Mawlamyine in southern Mon State.

According to a statement of ministry's Myanma Port Authority on Thursday, the study will be commenced between Talauk Nyaung Wine Village and Wekali Village of Mudon Town in Mawlamyine.

The tender form is available as of June 9 for those interested.

The project is aimed at enhancing the urban development capabilities to develop Mawlamyine in Mon State. Enditem
