CAIRO, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi held a quadrilateral meeting with visiting leaders from Bahrain, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to discuss ties and cooperation in northern Egypt's coastal city of New Alamein on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Sisi, Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Jordanian King Abdullah II, and the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed ties between their countries as well as "the aspects of joint cooperation at various levels," said the Egyptian presidency in a statement.
They also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and developments, and exchanged views and visions on them, according to the statement.
A similar meeting was held on Monday gathering the same leaders as well as Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, who left Egypt earlier on Tuesday, during which they addressed means to develop all-round cooperation between the five countries. Enditem
