BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Batan Islands region, the Philippines at 0143 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 48.4 km, was initially determined to be at 20.49 degrees north latitude and 121.57 degrees east longitude. Enditem
