Tunisia calls on its nationals in Libya to be vigilant amid ongoing clashes

TUNIS, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Tunisian Embassy in Libya called on its nationals to be vigilant in light of the violent clashes in Libya's capital Tripoli, private radio station Mosaique FM reported on Tuesday.

"In light of the security developments taking place in the Libyan capital since Monday evening, the Tunisian Embassy in Tripoli has called on all members of the Tunisian community residing in Libya, especially those in the capital Tripoli and its surroundings, to exercise the utmost caution," reported Mosaique FM.

"All Tunisian nationals should stay away from the areas of clashes," reads the report.

The Libyan capital has witnessed violent clashes between two armed groups since Monday, paralyzing most activity in Tripoli, including air traffic. Enditem
