KHARTOUM -- Sudan's legal group Emergency Lawyers said Wednesday that 32 civilians were killed in artillery shelling launched by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Omdurman city, north of the Sudanese capital.
The non-governmental syndicate said the civilians, including children, were killed Tuesday in the Ombada locality of Omdurman in "random" SAF artillery strikes.

TEHRAN -- Five people were killed and at least 41 others injured on Wednesday in a collision between a bus and eight sedans on an intercity road in Iran's northern province of Mazandaran, IRIB news agency reported.
The deadly incident occurred in Savadkuh County in the morning as the bus with malfunctioning brakes veered off the course and ran into eight sedans in the opposite lane before halting on an emergency escape ramp, IRIB quoted Mazandaran's Traffic Police Chief Yadollah Jahantab as saying.
