HANGZHOU, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's archers secured both women's and men's Asian Games recurve team titles after they edged China and India respectively in Friday's finals.
An San, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, kept her unwavering focus amid the cheering crowds to capture a 5-3 victory alongside her teammates Lim Sih-yeon and Choi Mi-sun.
"The crowd was OK. The weather was a bit cold today and that affected me a bit more, but I was able to overcome it," said An.
"I am very happy that I got what I wanted today and we won the gold medal together."
An will face her compatriot Lim in the individual gold medal match on Saturday.
The team's medal was Lim's second gold after having clinched the mixed event title alongside Lee Woo-seok.
In the recurve men's competition, Lee won a second gold as he and his compatriots beat India 5-1 in the team gold medal match on Friday afternoon.
"It was a great pleasure to finally win the coveted team gold medal," said Lee.
In the recurve individual men's event, Lee will fight for bronze on Saturday against Ilfat Abdullin of Kazakhstan, after he lost to China's Qi Xiangshuo in their semifinal. Enditem
