GAZA -- A bus carrying 30 Palestinian prisoners departed on Tuesday evening from the Israeli Ofer prison, which is located near the West Bank city of Ramallah, said a Xinhua reporter on-site.
The Israel Prison Service confirmed that 30 Palestinians, including 15 women and 15 minors, were released from Israeli jails in the fifth swap under a truce deal between Israel and Hamas. (Palestine-Israel-Prisoners Release)

KHARTOUM -- The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on Tuesday announced the beginning of a ground campaign to march on the Sudanese capital to "eliminate" the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

FREETOWN -- The Sierra Leonean government on Tuesday said that the attacks launched by armed individuals on military barracks and other places Sunday in Freetown, the country's capital, are a "failed attempted coup."
