Urgent: 5.0-magnitude quake hits Southern Iran -- GFZ

BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Southern Iran at 0734 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 27.69 degrees north latitude and 56.27 degrees east longitude. Enditem
