Car crash kills 2 in central Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and two others injured in a car crash in Hali-Ela area in central Sri Lanka on Sunday, local police said.

The police said the victims belonged to the same family. The car veered off the road and crashed into a wayside tree.

The two injured have been admitted to the local hospital, according to the police. Enditem
