BUENOS AIRES, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Boca Juniors have extended the contract of Peru international defender Luis Advincula for another two years, the Argentine club said on Monday.
Advincula, who had been in the final year of his contract, will be tied to the Buenos Aires outfit until December 2026, according to a statement on Boca's official website.
The 34-year-old full-back has made 119 first-team appearances for the Xeneize since joining the club from Spain's Rayo Vallecano in July 2021.
In that time Boca have won a top-flight title and three domestic cups.
Advincula, whose club career has included spells at Hoffenheim, Sporting Cristal and News Old Boys, has made 117 appearances for Peru's national team since his international debut in 2010. Enditem
