Olympiacos into Europa Conference League final

ATHENS, May 10 (Xinhua) -- Olympiacos secured their place in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa Conference League final, defeating Aston Villa 2-0 in the second leg of the semifinal at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus on Thursday.

Olympiacos' forward Ayoub El Kaabi scored in the 10th and 78th minutes, respectively, to clinch the victory.

The hosts had previously celebrated a 4-2 victory over Aston Villa in the first leg a week earlier in Birmingham.

Olympiacos will face Fiorentina in the final.

Last season, Fiorentina was defeated 2-1 by West Ham in the 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League final in Prague. Enditem
