BAGHDAD -- An Iraqi soldier was killed and two others were injured on Wednesday in an attack by the Islamic State (IS) militants on a military base in Iraq's northern province of Kirkuk, a security source said.

BEIRUT -- A Syrian was killed and two others sustained injuries on Wednesday in an Israeli strike on the Mansouri Plain in southern Lebanon, Lebanese military sources said.
