TEHRAN -- A hard landing happened to a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other senior officials in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan on Sunday, Iran's state-run IRIB TV reported.

The area of the hard landing had been narrowed down to a radius of 2 km, but the exact location has yet to be determined, Iranian Vice President for Executive Affairs Mohsen Mansouri told state-run IRIB TV. (Iran-President-Helicopter Crash)

TEHRAN -- Iran's Vice President for Executive Affairs Mohsen Mansouri said on Sunday that contact had been established with a passenger and a crew member aboard the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi that suffered a hard landing.

AMMAN -- The Jordan Armed Forces said Sunday that it conducted three airdrops of humanitarian and food aid over several locations in the southern Gaza Strip.

The airdrops came amid ongoing war and escalating fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas-led Palestinian armed factions, which turned Gaza into a battleground with civilians suffering a severe shortage of food and relief supplies, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
