Malaysia's palm oil stocks rise to 1.83 mln tons in June

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second largest palm oil producer, has reported higher palm oil inventories in June amid weak exports, according to official data.

Malaysia's palm oil stocks in June rose 4.35 percent from May to 1.83 million tons, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said in a statement on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the country's crude palm oil production fell 5.23 percent month on month to 1.62 million tons.

The country's palm oil exports declined by 12.82 percent month on month to 1.21 million tons, while imports plunged 43.46 percent to 11,738 tons. Enditem
