MADRID, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- Spanish La Liga club Osasuna have signed Spain international winger Bryan Zaragoza on loan for a season from Bayern Munich.

Zaragoza, 22, joined Bayern Munich for around 4 million euros last December after a brilliant start to last season with Granada, but struggled to adapt and made just seven brief first-team appearances, losing a chance to form part of the Spain squad for the European championship after making his international debut in October 2023.

Osasuna will pay a reported 250,000 euros for the loan, which doesn't include an option to make the move permanent.

Several La Liga clubs, including Valencia, are thought to have been interested in signing Zaragoza for the season, but the chance of regular first-team football has seen him chose Pamplona-based Osasuna, who have a new coach in Vicente Moreno after Jagoba Arrasate opted not to sign a new contract and join Mallorca.
