YANGON, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar earned over 1.72 billion U.S. dollars from agricultural exports in the first four months of the 2024-25 fiscal year (from April 1 to July 26), the state-run media Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) reported on Sunday.

The country generated over 1.4 billion U.S. dollars from sea exports and 298 million dollars from border trade.

Key agricultural products in Myanmar are rice, broken rice, beans and pulses, corn, edible oil crops and rubber.

During this period, Myanmar earned over 290 million dollars from rice and broken rice exports, over 700 million dollars from beans and pulses exports, and over 365 million dollars from corn exports.

The main export markets are China, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Pakistan, Belgium and Italy. Enditem
