Urgent: 5 Chinese nationals dead in plane crash in Thailand

BANGKOK, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Five Chinese nationals were confirmed dead in a small plane crash in Thailand's eastern province of Chachoengsao on Thursday, the Chinese embassy in Thailand told Xinhua, citing Thai authorities.

The Cessna Caravan C208B aircraft, flight number TFT 209 of the Thai Flying Service, lost contact with the Suvarnabhumi Air Traffic Control Center in the capital Bangkok before crashing. The aircraft was heading to the southeastern Trat province, according to a statement of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. Enditem
