RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Flamengo manager Tite is set to be discharged from hospital on Saturday after recovering from an irregular heartbeat, the Rio de Janeiro club said.

The former Brazil national team boss, whose real name is Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, was admitted to the Copa Star hospital in Rio de Janeiro on Friday morning after feeling unwell on a flight from Bolivian capital La Paz.

"Coach Tite showed good clinical progress with the treatment provided," Flamengo said in a statement. "The arrhythmia has been reversed and the heart rate has now normalized."

It added that the 63-year-old would leave the hospital on Saturday under strict orders to rest in the following 48 hours.

Flamengo suffered a 1-0 loss to Bolivar in the second leg of their Copa Libertadores round of 16 tie on Thursday but advanced 2-1 on aggregate.

Tite will be replaced in the Flamengo dugout for Sunday's Brazilian Serie A match against Bragantino at the Maracana Stadium by his son, Matheus. Enditem
