BISHKEK, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan will implement a temporary state regulation of coal prices for 90 days starting on Sept. 15, with maximum set prices, according to a report released by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce on Monday.

The decision aims to prevent coal prices from increasing and ensure affordability for the population.

The report stated that Kyrgyzstan's Antimonopoly Regulation Service will enforce state regulation and control of coal prices, given that the energy source is deemed a socially significant good. Enditem
