MADRID, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Atletico Madrid have signed Argentine goalkeeper Juan Musso on loan from Europa League champions Atalanta for the new season.

The 30-year-old arrives at the club with the task of giving some competition to Jan Oblak, who has been first choice for Atletico since arriving in 2014.

Musso, who has two caps for Argentina, joined Atalanta in 2021, but after being a regular starter at the Italian club in his first two campaigns, he lost protagonism in the past two seasons, playing only once in Serie A last season. Enditem
