SYDNEY, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Lockdown has been lifted in a hospital in northeastern Australia's State of Queensland as police did not find weapons in it, Australia's 9News network reported on Wednesday.

An earlier local report said the Logan Hospital, which is approximately 20 kilometers south of the state capital of Brisbane, had been locked down by Queensland police on Wednesday morning following reports of an armed intruder in the building.

Following an extensive search, police found a man more than an hour later and questioned him, according to 9News.

Police said no weapons were found and no further action will be taken.

The lockdown has been lifted as the hospital returns to normal operation. Enditem
