BISHKEK, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- "Interaction-2024" -- the command and staff exercises with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) -- will be held in Kyrgyzstan in September, the country's Defense Ministry said Friday.

On Thursday, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrei Serdyukov briefed the participants on the developing situation in the regions of the CSTO and a set of events planned for the current year, the goals and objectives of the exercises, as well as the involved forces and means.

The "Interaction-2024" exercises aim to practice using forces and means to resolve a crisis, according to Serdyukov.
