PARIS, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- China's remarkable form in para table tennis continued on Sunday when the squad added two more gold medals to their tally, bringing the country's total to seven out of ten so far.

Chinese pair Feng Panfeng and Zhou Ying won the mixed doubles 7 title, defeating opponents from Thailand. Liao Keli and Yan Shuo then secured gold in the men's doubles 14 final.

"If I had to rate how happy we are out of 10, I would say more than 10," a jubilant Liao said.

Poland, however, prevented China from registering a hat-trick as their pair Patryk Chojnowski and Piotr Grudzien defeated Chinese seeds Liu Chaodong and Zhao Yiqing in the men's doubles 18 gold medal match.

Chinese wheelchair archer Han Guifei lost 134-131 to his American opponent in an intense men's individual W1 final, while his teammate Zhang Tianxin secured the bronze.

After the match, the 37-year-old shed tears and said, "It's a good chance for me, but I failed to grab it due to great pressure. Archery has given me a second life, for which I feel myself living a perfect life."

On the para athletics field, China clinched six golds, four silvers, and two bronzes in one day's competitions, while Guillaume Junior Atangana became the first male athlete to win a medal for the Refugee Team at the Olympic or Paralympic Games.

At the Eiffel Tower Stadium, the blind football competition kicked off as Colombia beat Japan 1-0 to claim all three points on their Paralympic Games debut.

Elsewhere, China's two goalball teams won their respective matches to complete the preliminary phase unbeaten.

By the end of Sunday, China topped the Games' medal list with 33 gold, 27 silver, and 11 bronze medals, followed by Britain and the United States with 23 and eight golds respectively. Enditem
