JALALABAD, Afghanistan -- At least five commuters were killed and three others injured in a traffic accident in east Afghanistan's Nangarhar province on Wednesday, said a spokesman for the provincial police department.

The mishap took place after two passenger vehicles and a rickshaw collided with a fuel tanker on the outskirts of the province's Surkh Rod district, said Basir Zabuli, spokesperson for the provincial police. (Afghanistan-Injury-Accident)

NEW DELHI -- Two bodies have been recovered after three crew members went missing as an Indian Coast Guard helicopter crashed into the Arabian Sea, while search for the third one is underway, officials said Wednesday.

HANOI -- A total of 257 traffic accidents were reported in Vietnam during the National Day holiday from Aug. 31 to Sept. 3, killing 124 people and injuring 193 others, according to the country's National Traffic Safety Committee.

HELSINKI -- A teenager was shot on Wednesday morning at a primary school near the Swedish capital of Stockholm, according to local reports.
