JERUSALEM, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv will play its four Europa League home matches at Partizan Stadium in Belgrade, Maccabi announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Maccabi will play the home matches in Serbia because international organizing bodies have prohibited hosting international football matches in Israel since Oct. 7th, 2023.

In the league phase, which will run from late September to late January, Maccabi will face Midtjylland, Real Sociedad, RFS Riga, and Porto in Belgrade, along with away matches against Braga, Ajax Amsterdam, Besiktas, and Bodo/Glimt.

According to Maccabi's statement, all parties involved agreed to allow fans to attend the matches in Belgrade. Enditem
