DUBAI, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Thursday called on enterprises from China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to seize the new opportunities of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.

While addressing the closing session of the UAE-China Business Forum, Li said the UAE is an important hub connecting Asia, Africa and Europe along the land and maritime Silk Roads.

At present, the Belt and Road cooperation has entered a new stage of high-quality development, and the cooperation between the two countries under this framework has deepened, Li noted.

He said it is hoped that enterprises of the two countries will continue to actively participate in promoting the deep integration of the two countries into the global industrial and supply chains, so as to reap more abundant returns in common development and shared prosperity. Enditem
