SINGAPORE, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- The non-oil domestic exports (NODX) in Singapore expanded 10.7 percent year-on-year in August, following the 15.7 percent increase in July, the government agency Enterprise Singapore said Tuesday.
Both electronic NODX and non-electronic NODX continued growth in August.
NODX to Singapore's top markets as a whole expanded in August. China's Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, and Malaysia were the largest contributors to the expansion.
Singapore's total trade increased 3.1 percent year-on-year in August, following the 13.6 percent growth in July.
Total exports in Singapore grew 4.4 percent year-on-year in August, and total imports expanded 1.8 percent. Enditem
