Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves increase 43 mln USD

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Foreign exchange reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan have increased 43 million U.S. dollars, the bank said on Thursday.

During the week ending on Sept. 13, the total foreign exchange reserves of the bank reached over 9.5 billion dollars, the central bank said in a statement.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came at about 5.3 billion dollars.

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the South Asian country stood at about 14.8 billion dollars. Enditem
