MEXICO CITY, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Nelson Deossa scored twice as Pachuca snapped a five-game winless run with a 3-2 victory at Puebla in Mexico's Liga MX on Friday.

Veteran Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon gave the visitors an early lead before Emiliano Gomez equalized with a 19th-minute strike.

Deossa then netted either side of Gomez's second goal as Pachuca clinched their second win of the campaign.

Los Tuzos are now 13th in the 28-team standings, two points behind 12th-placed Puebla.

The top six teams will advance automatically to the playoff rounds while those ranked from 7th to 10th will vie for the remaining two quarterfinal places.

In Friday's only other Liga MX fixture, Queretaro won 1-0 at Atlas thanks to Federico Lertora's fourth-minute goal. Enditem
