GAZA -- At least 22 Palestinians were killed and 30 others wounded on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike on a school housing displaced people in southern Gaza City, Gaza-based health authorities said.

TOKYO -- Unprecedented rainfall hit Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture on Saturday, leaving one person dead and seven missing, local media reported.

SEOUL -- Three men were killed in what is believed to be an arson attack at an inn in South Korea's North Chungcheong province, Yonhap news agency reported Saturday.
A fire broke out at the inn at about 1:44 a.m. local time (1644 GMT Friday), killing three men presumed to be long-term guests. The fire was extinguished in about an hour. (South Korea-Arson) Enditem
